Blogs

I have never kept a blog before and i was never really interested in blogs. I thought blogs were pretty much just online journals. I am kind of a private person which is why i was never interested in keeping a public journal. After reading more about blogs i realized they are not only a public journal but they can be used for many different things in the classroom. One used that i thought was a really good idea was to communicate with students parents. Instead of sending home notes everyday and wasting paper or taking the risk that students might not give their notes to their parents i realized blogging was a great solution. Parents can long on and read all the announcements that i need to give to them with the assurance that i do not have to rely on a young child to relay the information. Blogs are also a great tool for classroom activities and can be used in many great ways.
